I have been selling real estate for over 17 years, am married to a European and have 4 young children (2 boys and 2 girls).

In Epsom and the surrounding suburbs there is a large Chinese community. When it comes to negotiating cross culturally either buying or selling – I am simply hard to beat which is why so many people have entrusted the selling of their homes to me.

Being married to a New Zealander, I have a particular strength in that I am equally comfortable relating culturally to both Asian and Western cultures and can deeply appreciate cultural differences which directly affects selling price or for that matter a sale at all. I also have the added major advantage in that I am equally able to converse effectively in both English and Chinese.

Before coming to New Zealand, I practiced as a medical surgeon where I was the doctor in charge. It was my genuine desire to help people which led me to this career path. Many have said my thoroughness and precision which stems from my medical training is evident when I market homes. My wife, a widely respected secondary school teacher now works as my assistant.

In my first year of real estate I won the title of ‘Rookie of the Year’ and have become a consistent top achiever winning numerous annual awards including #1 Sales Agent for Barfoot & Thompson Epsom. Prior to moving to Barfoot & Thompson (in August 2000) my volume of sales qualified me to become a member of the Real Estate Company’s Million Dollar Club.
